Let's take a virtual step into a controlled future!

business – bank – company – team – game

Let's start with 5 simple questions!

1.

Do you enjoy playing in a team?

2.

Taking risks and competing?

3.

Thinking strategically?

4.

Are you familiar with Monopoly?

5.

Do you trust your colleagues’ knowledge?

Let's assume that the answer to all of these questions is yes!

Then here are 3 more questions:

1.

How much would it be worth if you could see into the future of your business or bank, several years ahead?

2.

Why would it be useful to see your team’s business decisions come to fruition in a virtual reality?

3.

How careful would you be if you knew there was no undo button?

180 senior executives from 9 banks and manufacturing companies can already answer these 3 questions.

They took part in Business Training Associates Kft.’s two-day virtual business simulation game.

Our students said…

„Futuristic, interesting, exciting, positively unpredictable and creative. This new approach was thought-provoking compared to the grey reality of everyday life.”

„The instructors are highly skilled in their field. They complemented each other well and moderated the learning process, which was very enjoyable. I consider it one of my best training experiences, for which I am very grateful!”

„Having to manage our „own” bank gave us a completely different perspective. Typically, everyone sees their own role most clearly, whereas the ultimate goal is the income-generating capability of the bank as a whole. It was good to see in practice how fragile the balance between capital and profit is, and how our decisions affect our operating results.”

What exactly is this?

A two-day gamification training course with a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 25 participants, who are organized into teams and connected to an internal network, use 30-inch touchscreens to simulate several years of business activity of their competing companies or banks.

KEY TERM: GAMIFICATION

It is no coincidence that we call our two-day training course a virtual business game. We use game elements such as scoring, competition, and rules to facilitate strategic planning, education, and skills development. This is the essence of gamification: encouraging engagement through game-like techniques in order to achieve the best possible results.

In our game, participants learn about the meanings of symbols such as the coin, coffee cup, top hat, green arrow, three dots, trash can, and five stars, as well as their roles in the game.

For participants, the gamified approach offers numerous advantages:

Gamification can be implemented in many areas of business. Surveys have shown that 90% of employees believe that gamification makes them more productive, 60% reported an increase in engagement. Organizations that use gamification strategies are seven times more profitable than those that do not.

What is it good for, what does it develop?

Our exclusive training program, which is not based on filling out Excel spreadsheets, effectively develops most soft skills in addition to the skills necessary for strategic planning at both businesses and banks.

Our UNITY software-based virtual game spans several business years. The game is supervised by two highly qualified teachers from BTA Kft. After each business year, the teams analyse the impact of different strategies on results under the guidance of their tutors. The training leaders have extensive teaching experience and ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualifications, enabling them to answer all relevant questions. They are also trainers who are themselves business owners and financial and strategic experts.

How does the simulation work?

Company simulation

Working in teams, they make decisions about every aspect of their business:

Bank simulation

Working in teams, they make decisions on all aspects of their bank:

Everything on the GIANT tablet

Each area of operation is clearly separated from each other and displayed on the giga tablet’s graphical surface, allowing teams to immediately see the effects of their actions. Team members move freely, interact with each other, and manage the tablet together.

Team members—as senior managers of their companies—jointly manage their “own” businesses. They see the impact of their decisions in real time and monitor the performance of other competitors when annual financial statements and indicators are “published.”

They decide on strategy together, negotiate with other entities to obtain and reallocate resources, and compete for customers. Roles must be distributed among team members, which improves cooperation and develops negotiation skills. Players can experiment with decisions and strategies outside their comfort zone. They enjoy those „Eureka!” moments when things suddenly „click.” They develop an understanding of the relationships among different areas of the business and the impact of their decisions on company performance. They take away valuable, practical knowledge.

Why choose us?

The operations of banks and manufacturing companies differ significantly, which is why we offer two versions of the game: bank-by-play and manufacturing-by-play. All this in two languages.

01.

Our two-day training course is completely different from anything else available on the Hungarian market to date. In addition to serious hardware and software support, highly skilled tutors ensure a high-quality, enjoyable training.

02.

The simulation process is interesting, practical, and captivating. It opens participants' eyes to new insights and connections that they may not have encountered before, not even at school.

03.

It is realistic how educational moments are mixed with practical steps. Team members can immerse themselves in the situation of their own company, and not even extroverts will get bored.

04.

In the truly interactive training, new events occur continuously, allowing participants to see the effects of each step and decision directly, forcing them to truly follow and deeply consider each step.

Who can benefit from this?

This training is particularly useful for all those market players who have a design-oriented approach, high standards for their organizational and operational culture, and focus on long-term strategies rather than short-term plans.

As one of our participants put it:

„The two days of business simulation gave me more than two years of MBA training.”

It’s important to note that no financial knowledge is required for successful participation.

“Even I, who have no background in this, walked away having learned something new.”
